We have found that occasionally a Windows Update will break applications after an OS update release.
If all is running well with your point of sale system and then odd things begin to occur it might be due to an update to the Windows OS that was recently installed. We recommend that you roll back that last or previously few updates one at a time to see if the issue self corrects. Also recommended is that you turn OFF automatic updates on your critical business point of sale computers and perform updates only under controlled conditions. * These guidelines refer to Windows OS updates.
